Hugh Jackman Reveals Regrets About Wolverine Character
Hugh Jackman has turned out to be a great choice for Wolverine, the iconic character of the X-Men franchise. Many fans have considered him to be perfect for the role. Even though there are certain things about him that differed from the comics, they turned out to be rather minimal compared to the role he has played. Even though Hugh Jackman was perfect as Wolverine, he does have some regrets about the role. One thing that he has regretted was not being able to wear the iconic yellow suit in the film. One of the reasons behind this is that the X-Men film franchise began at a time when it was cool to be in all black. Also, the creative team have not figured out how to make the iconic X-Men suits work for the film.
These days, the creative team is more comfortable with showing the film adaption of the comic characters in a form that is more representative of their comics. For instance, Zack Snyder has decided to present characters with a Batman that is in a costume more representative of the comics as opposed to the mechanical black suit.
There is another aspect of Logan that Hugh Jackman regrets was not part of the film franchise. Logan had a birthday where he got to see his brother who would beat him up. There are also a lot of other aspects of the character and other characters that did not make it into the film franchise.
As of right now, Wolverine is likely to be given a rest given Hugh Jackman’s captivating performance of the iconic X-Men character.
