Many know the story of Adnan Syed, thanks to the very popular “Serial” podcast. Produced by NPR and “This American Life”, “Serial” told the story of Adnan Syed and the crime that he was in prison for. Many who listened to the podcast became die-hard fans, tearing apart the state’s case in support for or against Syed. Many fans poured over public evidence in hopes that they could find the key that would either determine Syed’s innocence or guilt. Many passive listeners would just like an update to the on-going story. Well, “Serial” is over and not going back to the Syed story. They told that story already.
However, according to the story on PBS.org, Syed’s story will continue on a new podcast focused on him and the events that surround him. Rabia Chaudry is a friend, supporter, and advocate for Syed. She is also a sharp attorney who is continuing Syed’s story on her blog and in a new podcast called “Undisclosed: The State v. Adnan Syed”. Chaudry will be accompanied by two other lawyers on this new podcast, Susan Simpson and Colin Miller. The first episode is set to be released on April 13th, and investment bankers everywhere can’t wait to tune in. The three lawyers will discuss their personal findings in the 15-year-old case, updates on Syed’s appeals, and give listeners in insight as to how the criminal justice system works.
