There has been a lot of talk about Ben Affleck’s upcoming Batman movie. One of the topics of discussion is that Ben Affleck is taking a lot of time getting his plans off the ground. However, there has been a lot of pressure being put on Ben Affleck on the movie and Ben was reported as saying that the movie is not going to do the movie without a good script. This has sent a lot of rumors about Ben Affleck walking away from the role as Batman. However, Ben has revealed that the movie is good to go with filming getting ready to start in the summer of 2017.
Ben is taking his time on the project for a lot of good reasons. The previous films Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad have both been seen as messy even though they have both made profits at the box office. However, one of the main issues behind the films was studio meddling. When the ultimate cut of Batman V Superman was released on video, a lot of the questions and issues with the plot have been fixed. However, there are still some glaring issues with the overall direction of the story. Unfortunately, the same couldn’t be said for Suicide Squad. With all of the talk of the many different versions of the film, what was released was simply an extended version of the theatrical release.
Ben Affleck is definitely not looking to make that mistake. Fortunately, his track record shows that he can be trusted. The Batman is the type of film he could do well in. Ben is very likely to get the ball rolling by the summer.
