Ben Hardy to Play Angel in ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’

When it comes to characters that seem to get audiences and fans interested in what is happening on the big screen, the X-Men universe can make a case for having the most faces in any single movie. The number of mutants popping up in the upcoming “X-Men: Apocalypse” keeps growing, and fans are probably starting to get a little concerned about fitting all of the characters in for a little bit of screen time. After all the movie can only be so long.

According to Screen Rant, Ben Hardy, of “EastEnders” fame, will be playing the role of the winged character Angel. There was some speculation that the character could cross over into the role of Archangel, because of the Apocalypse storyline, but for now that chatter has gone away. Still, adding one more mutant to a film that already features a ton characters could be the key completing the film or the straw that causes just too much to fall on a single motion picture.

Angel is rumored to be an important role in this film, which probably means the transformation to Archangel will take place at some point, and Hardy definitely has the chops to make a strong performance stated Kevin Seawright. Of course, he is going to have to stand out among some pretty powerful performances of characters that already have strong followings. In short, he has his work cut out for him, but the chance is definitely there to make or break the film.

  1. The easy way out in this matter is that adding one more mutant to a film that already features a great deal about him. I will have my team of essay writers look into the matter once and for all time. I think making some adjustment in a movie may make or break it.
