Rogue One Trailer Promises A New Hope

The second and final trailer for Disney’s upcoming Star Wars spinoff, “Star Wars: Rogue One” has hit the web with much fanfare.

It’s the first film in the Star Wars franchise to move away from the original story of Luke Skywalker and his exploits. The plot follows a group of rebels led by Jyn Orso (played by Felicity Jones) to steal construction plans for the Empire’s secret weapon, the Death Star. “Rogue One” takes place just prior to the events of the original movie, “A New Hope.”

The new trailer reveals some deeper plot points and takes a closer look at Jyn Orso, showing flashbacks from her childhood. We see that Jyn’s father has some level of involvement with the Empire and the construction of the Death Star.

From there momentum builds, contrasting the frightening and overwhelming power of the Empire with the hope and dogged perseverance of an unlikely, rag-tag group of rebels that are determined to succeed. The trailer is full of action, beautiful cinematography, and of course an ominous appearance from the iconic villain, Darth Vader.

Disney CEO Bob Iger has deemed Rogue One to be “an experiment.” It seems like the film is building hard on the concept of hope amongst the vastly outnumbered rebels and is setting itself up as a promising spinoff prequel to the original trilogy. If this trailer is any indication, their experiment could prove to be an overwhelmingly positive success.

Rogue One is due in theaters December 16th, 2016. It’s directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Felicity Jones, Mads Mikkelsen, and Riz Amhed.

MTV Shares First Eight Minutes of Final ‘Teen Wolf’ Season

MTV ushered in a new era of programming for the network when it debuted a new spin on the 80s movie ‘Teen Wolf’ five years ago. The new version was darker, sexier, and full of more twists and turns than the average maze. It’s consistently been one of the network’s most popular shows ever since, but all good things must come to an end. The cast of the series made their final New York Comic Con appearance together this weekend, and while there, MTV debuted the first eight minutes of the show’s final season.

Season six will be all about memories as the group faces the prospect of growing up, graduating from high school, and moving on from their supernatural magnet of a hometown, and the first eight minutes of the show gives a brief introduction to the idea. Check it out:

Not only does the series kick off its sixth season with Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) and Hayden (Victoria Moroles) on a date to remind the audience that there’s a whole new generation of wolves in Beacon Hills, but it also gives a hint at the themes to come. We see Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) struggling with the idea that Beacon Hills might not need the supernatural protection he and his friends have offered, while Scott (Tyler Posey) is more receptive to the idea of leaving the town to stand on its own two feet. Of course, that doesn’t get the chance to be explored just yet as we’re also given our first glimpse at the new villain.

A mysterious rider on horseback pulls the parents of a young boy from a car, a boy who can’t remember anything other than that his parents were taken. Even Scott’s attempt to view his memory leaves him confused about just what they might be going up against, other than a man on a horse, which gives everyone a great teaser for what’s to come. Fans surely have a lot to look forward to.

‘Teen Wolf’ returns to MTV on November 15 at 9PM to begin its final season.

Character Posters Released for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

Excitement is building for the release of J.K. Rowling’s new movie,Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, premiering on November 18. Directed by David Yates, this is the film that Harry Potter fans have been looking forward to all year. Movie character posters were just released, and can be seen here; they offer the eager public a fresh look at these witches and wizards.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them follows the adventures of writer Newt Scamander. His story takes place in New York City’s secret community of witches and wizards; it all happens seventy years before Harry Potter reads Scamander’s book in school. The electrifying trailers promise an adventure full of danger, sure to enchant even new Rowling fans.

Actors include Alison Sudol (Transparent) and Colin Farrell (The Lobster). Movie trailers already show that the cast does well in a magical setting, giving us fresh faces as we venture back into the Wizarding World. Potterheads are sure to experience a combination of nostalgia and excitement when they see this new installment; after all, many of them grew up watching the Harry Potter movies, and have waited years to “go back.”

Depending on the success of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, there could be sequels. Part 2 is already scheduled to premiere on November 16, 2018. If Newt Scamander’s story is received with enough enthusiasm, Rowling might surprise her fans with more intriguing journeys into the Wizarding World. She is sure to earn herself another generation of loyal followers, children and adults eager to become wizards.

Conservative Bugbear Soros Rears His Head

In keeping up with what at this point must be a central theme of this presidential campaign season, a throwback to an earlier time has once again made his presence felt. George Soros has thrown his weight and considerable wealth behind the Democratic candidate for office, Hillary Clinton.

Soros hasn’t been around much since he last made noise as a major donor, in 2004. At that time he invested $27 million of his own fortune in an effort to keep George W. Bush from winning re-election.

His failure to boost John Kerry past Bush for the highest office in the land, and the fallout from his sometimes incendiary negative comments directed at Bush and his policies, sent Soros to the sidelines for a time on He likened the Bush administration’s rhetoric to that of the Nazis, drawing the ire of conservative political pundits.

That experience, along with eight years of Democratic occupancy of the White House, led Soros to pull back a bit in recent years. Though he has maintained a presence in giving to favored political causes, it’s nothing like the concentrated commitment he has made to defeating Donald Trump. That, coupled with his appreciation for Clinton’s candidacy, has led to Soros throwing his hat back in the ring to the tune of $25 million in 2016 so far.

Soros has spread the wealth around, donating $7 million to a political action committee (PAC) that supports Clinton called Priorities USA, $5 million to the Immigrant Voters Win PAC, and committing $5 million to Voting Rights Trust. American Bridge 21st Century, a PAC focused on defeating Donald Trump has received $2 million, and various other Democratic-favoring PACs and committees have all received $700,000.

Ironically enough, another reason Soros had curtailed his political giving, at least in the American arena, was his concern over the amount of influence a person of his financial stature could impose on the democratic process. That’s reportedly why he has chosen to spread his wealth across a number of different causes this election.

While Soros’ giving may again seem to be driven by his desire to keep one particular candidate, Donald Trump, from being elected, it’s also fair to say that he is motivated by his desire to see Clinton ascend to the position often described as “leader of the free world.” Soros had soured on Obama after initially supporting him during his first successful election campaign. It’s said that the business magnate was less than impressed with Obama’s pursuit of certain liberal policies once in office.

Soros may not be as vocal this time around, but it is clear that he is once again fully engaged in the U.S. political arena.

The Lion King Is The Latest Re-Imagined Disney Flick

Disney remakes are taking over movie theatres and social media. It seems to be all that anyone can talk about. After all, many of us grew up watching the animated Disney flicks in the theatres or at home on VHS. It’s truly a symbol of childhood. Now, many of us are adults and still want to enjoy watching those movies. That’s why so many adults are excited that Disney is reimagining the old flicks. We’ve seen movies such as Maleficent, The Jungle Book, and Cinderella hit the big screen and enjoy much success.

The latest film to follow suit is the Lion King. Of course, it’s up to opinion but this one seems to be the biggest remake out of all of them. According to Reddit, Walt Disney Studios, and Jon Favreau are joining the forces to make this flick happen. Favreau was also the director of The Jungle Book so it’s safe to say that he knows what he’s doing.

The Lion King is one of the biggest grossing films of all times so it’s sure to be a sold-out success in movie theatres across the world when it has its debut. This movie does appear that it will target an older audience, much like all the other Disney remakes. The Lion King doesn’t have a set release date yet so fans shouldn’t get too excited just yet. Before The Lion King debuts, they have Beauty and The Beast to look forward too. That movie is set to hit theatres in 2017.

It’s exciting that these movies are being reimagined. It’s also fun to imagine which ones will be next. They seem to be working their way down the list so who’s to say there won’t be a Sleeping Beauty, Little Mermaid, or any of the other Disney princesses yet. Overall, it’s a great idea. So many fans are left happy and these movies are great money makers.

Laidlaw Is Getting A Bad Rep

I recently read an article on PRNewswire about the amended complaint against Laidlaw from Relmada Therapeutics. Relmada Therapeutics is a clinical stage company that develops new therapies for chronic pain. Their principal investment company was Laidlaw for quite some time, but Laidlaw did a series of bad moves, so the company decided to file a complaint against them. It seems like Laidlaw disclosed a lot of confidential and false information to potential clients of Relmada Therapeutics. This caused the company to lose clients and it also caused them to lose a lot monetarily. Because of that, Relmada Therapeutics decided that they were going to seek monetary damages.

From the article it does seem that Laidlaw has a long history of committing infractions against many of their clients. Their board of directors includes James Ahern and Matthew Eitner. They were not able to come to an agreement with Relmada Therapies, which may prove that they are not honest, but it could also prove that they are willing to stick by their defense. I am really not sure how to take the article, because there is really no clear cut way to find out if a company is honest or not.

Laidlaw is a company that is a full service investment banking and brokerage firm. They are a company that offers personalized investment advice for companies. They are also a company that works with individuals that have a high net worth. Laidlaw is a company that was started 1842, and they have offices in Europe and the US.

Laidlaw has over 150 employees around the world, and they are a company that has relationships with clients all around the world. They are a company that encourages their employees to think outside the box. Laidlaw is known as a company that helps their clients to grow financially.

Susan McGalla Is Looking Out For Women

On PR Newswire, there was a great article where Susan McGalla dolled out advice to women in the workplace. Make no mistake about it, women deserve the same amount of respect as men in the work place. Sadly, that is not often the case and they get overlooked. However, with someone like Susan McGalla in their corner, nothing can get in their way and nothing is impossible for them. She empowers women with wonderful advice on, wisdom, and knowledge that she has learned in her experiences.

Susan McGalla, of course, is the founder of P3 Executive Consulting, LLC, and she knows a lot about branding, marketing, and getting someone’s name out there. That is very important in today’s society. There are a lot of tools out for women to use and they have to be assertive and they have to be aggressive if they want to get ahead in the business world. They cannot be meek and they cannot be afraid. They have to go after what they want and get it. No one is going to give it to them or hand it to them. They have to work and they have to work very hard. Susan McGalla knows they are not afraid of hard work and putting the pedal to the metal.

One of the thing Susan McGalla stresses is education and how that can lead to better jobs in the workplace. When someone that has degree and that piece of paper, people tend to take them seriously and stand up and pay attention. No one can take that away from them. They have earned it, they deserve it, and they went out and got it. They didn’t allow anyone or anything to get in their way on their journey. That gets them in the room.

Once they are the room and they have that degree, a lot more doors open for them. They have to be prepared and ready for anything that might be thrown at them. However, their education has prepared them for whatever life or the business world is going to throw at them. They have already trained them on what to say, how to act, and how to land the job. Susan is big on education and knows the difference it can make on either landing the job or not even getting in the room. It all starts with the degree.

Actor Kelsey Grammer Hopes to Reprise a Popular Film Role

Kelsey Grammer appeared at the New York Comic Con recently. He caused a buzz among fans at the event by indicating he would definitely welcome an invitation to reprise the screen role of Hank McCoy in an X-Men film. In X-Men:The Last Stand(2006) he played the blue Superhero “Beast”, a role he briefly resumed during a cameo appearance in X-Men:Days of Future Past(2014).

The actor appeared on screen in the popular X-Men franchise after enjoying considerable success in a series of comedic television roles. He performed in two hit TV shows during much of the 1980s and 1990s: Cheers! and Frasier.

A memorable character played by Kelsey Grammer on television, Frasier Crane, originally appeared in the Cheers! sitcom. The series ran from 1984 until 1993, and presented plots based around the zany antics of characters frequenting a Boston bar. In Frasier, a spinoff broadcast between 1993 and 2004, Dr. Crane moved back to Seattle to accept a position as a radio talk show host. His character, a professional therapist, offered psychology advice to the public. In his spare time, Dr. Frasier Crane joined his younger brother, Niles, in caring for their recently retired father, a police officer. The brothers hired a live-in maid to assist the household full time.

Now married for the fourth time and residing in New York City with his 35-year old wife, Kayte Walsh, 61-year old Kelsey Grammer anticipates the birth of the couple’s third child (Kelsey Grammar’s seventh)soon. The couple previously celebrated the arrival of their two children, 4-year old Faith Evangeline Elisa and her brother, 2-year old Kelsey Gabriel Elias. Kelsey Grammer also recently became a grandfather for the first time.

Currently, comic book superhero movies inspire a lot of interest on the part of Hollywood. Audiences have flocked to movies and sequels based on popular comic book characters, such as the X-Men. The prospect another film might reprise the Beast character delighted the Comic Con audience in New York!
