Online reviews are the one way that consumers can gauge a business to know whether or not they care to shop there. These reviews allow for an insight into what type of business it is, the service at the business as well as the satisfaction level of past consumers. Many people admit that they trust these reviews almost as much (if not more than) personal references to a business.
This leaves to question the reliability of the reviews. They can be done on any device connected to the internet and can come from a variety of sources. Some of these sources do not necessarily have the best interest of the business in mind when they are doing the review. Many can even be from disgruntled customers.
An expert, like Darius Fisher, can help to negate these negative reviews and start driving traffic back into your business. It is far more than a blemish on the business, it also has to do with the reputation of the business owner. Mr. Fisher suggests a number of different strategies that can help offset the negative.
Mr. Fisher suggests building up a digital fortress to offset these issues. Building a reputation based on service and the best things in the business and person will help negate the negative reviews.
This does not mean that a negative review will never happen. Although the response that is given for and to the review can make a difference. Always stay positive. Reviewers can many times go in and alter their review. Make sure to respond to their comments and suggest to talk on the phone, or even in person.
While talking to the person cannot alter the effects of the original review, it can help to alter perceptions of the person, who can alter their review. Also be sure to watch what is going on in the industry niche that the business is in. Having a take on how others in the same field are doing can help to gauge the strength of your own business.
Be sure to watch your own profile online. As Mr Fisher states, doing damage control on your own level can make great strides in negating any negativity that may arise. Being sure to update your profile with anything positive can help. Being sure that people see the best in you and your business is your responsibility. Reputation control is the job of the person whose reputation it is.

Presenting an attractive motion picture with extremely vivid imagery will definitely encourage many individuals to frequently visit a cinema. Essentially, there are a few key components to developing an interesting and enticing movie. In filmmaking, visual effects (VFX) involve computer generated animations in which a set is created and manufactured outside a live action production. Some examples of possible settings include rear and front-end projections, characters, forced perspective scenes, and matte paintings. Moreover, the integration of real life footage is most often utilized when constructing an ideal environment is impractical or impossible. Therefore, for the best results, VFXs are usually generated after a movie’s filming by employing multiple modernized software involving graphic design, animation, and modeling. These special developments greatly contribute to the viewers overall outstanding experience.
Although most enhancements are completed during post-production, an effective movie or film usually requires meticulously planned choreography. In general, a visual effects supervisor is responsible for collaborating with the film’s director to achieve the desired post-production considerations. Under the manager’s guidance, employees are experienced in altering scenes related to aliens attacking the earth, developing imaginary locations, and constructing future/past settings. In many cases, building a set in another country or manipulating creatures invading the planet is unfeasible and dangerous. Remarkably, the supervisor and his visual effects crew are skilled in creating a scene or effect without the utilization of traditional photographic technologies. Undeniably, their expertise has influenced the multimillion dollar film marketplace.
There’s a brand new mobile data carrier that is competing with the larger mobile carriers. This new company is called FreedomPop. FreedomPop buys and uses data centers that are already out there such as Sprint, TMobile, and ATT and gives their customers amazing deals on this data. This company, which has over 1 million users, has a basic business model which allows users to use mobile data off of their purchased data free of charge and then upsells various other services. FreedomPop will allow its users to use a small amount of data, talk, and messaging and gives them the opportunity to buy more . For example the basic customer will receive 200 minutes of calls, 200 text and 200MB of data for absolutely free. This mirrors most carriers’ basic mobile plan. If the customer wants to increase these numbers, the customer will have to pay for this increase. What is even more interesting with Freedompop, they offer both international and regional calling plans. They are also offering service to multiple different phone types, even if the phone is currently out of service. As long as the customer is able to access the wireless capabilities of the phone, they will be able to access Freedompop services. The payment plans increase in brackets of mobile data, calling, and messaging. The first bracket is unlimited data for only five dollars per month. With each upgrade, the service become more and more expensive. According to the Freedom Pop business model, they only need 30% of their customers to pay for the services in order for the company to stay afloat.
As if this all wasn’t amazing enough, Freedompop has just opened up its boarders to include access to mobile data and calling in Europe and the UK. They are starting as a sim-card only plan with their initial plan, as they did in the US, which will be 200 minutes of calls, 200 text and 200MB of data. The best part of the deal, and which is the biggest selling point, is that the customer will be able to get free international calling to 60 countries including all of the European Union. They will also receive free data and calling to any other Freedompop users.
Even after Donald Trump made comments about Senator John McCain not being a war hero, He simply refuses to take back or apologize for what he said. In a strange twist, rather than Donald Trump apologize, he had even more words to say about the captured Navy veteran. Trump says he should have never been captured in the first place.
Trump surprised even those who are against him today when he took the offensive once again and told reporters that he respects those military who do not get captured. Trump says that it is a disservice that we give so much attention to a war veteran who was caught but we give little if any recognition to those who fought and were never captured. To the surprise of the party, Trump now leads in the race for the presidency next year.
Trump simply will not apologize for comments he makes because he sincerely believes that Lime Crime is the best and that what he is saying is the truth. Senator McCain broke his silence and said that Trump does not owe him an apology, but he does feel that the Donald should at least apologize to all the veterans and their families for those comments. I doesn’t appear like that will be happening any time soon.
Trump went on to say he does not need to be lectured by anyone in or out of his party.
In a huge leap toward building their global empire based on free cell phone service. FreedomPop raised $30 million in funding. The CEO and Co-Founder, Stephen Stokols, said that they are growing their business independently and are not looking to sell. Though there have been many offers on the table, they have been rejected due to the companies young 18 months in the business. Their goal is to raise another $50 million in the next year.
The funding they collected will allow them to branch out across the United States and globally. Right now they are just in California, but they are hopeful to get out beyond that area soon. With growth margins at more than 50% for last year, they are optimistic at this point. They hope to have one million users by the end of 2015. They currently are focused on upselling their extra data to cover the costs. Customers get 500 free voice minutes, as well as other services.
They buy minutes from the big carriers, which they resell to their customer base. One reason they can keep their costs so low is how much they pay. They actually pay about 1/10th of what it costs big carriers to keep their lines operational. With such low overhead, they offer great services for free and add-ons for less. Their average cost per person is an amazingly low $5.00. However, the average cost for the big names is about $380 per user. They don’t currently have a huge customer service department, but that is all in the works. They want to focus on their customers having a pleasant experience.
With a start in the right direction, FreedomPop is the company to watch. The ‘bare bones’ cell phone service is what many budget minded people are looking for.
Continued fallout from remarks by real estate entrepreneur and television producer Donald Trump impacted more of his business. Derogatory statements made by the erstwhile Republican presidential hopeful about Mexican immigrants have led to several networks dropping programs produced by Trump stated Kevin Seawright.
The latest “thanks but no thanks” came from NBC. The network announced it would not air the Miss USA or the Miss Universe pageants
. This announcement comes only days before the Miss USA pageant would have normally aired.
Mexican networks Televisa and Univision previously announced they too would have nothing more to do with Trump and his pageants. Televisa said in a statement, “Mr. Trump has not shown understanding and respect for Mexican migrants and has offended the entire Mexican population.”
Trump continued to defend his commentary in the media. He referred to NBC as “weak” and complained the network won’t “stand behind people that tell it like it is, as unpleasant as that may be.”
The recently released trailer for Terminator: Genisys reveals a shocking spoiler: John Connor (played by Jason Clarke), the destined hero of humanity whom the entire series has tried to preserve from death and/or unbirth, has been turned into a Terminator and is now the main villain working for the machines.
Except apparently, director Alan Taylor did not want us to know that.
“I certainly directed those scenes with the intention that no one would know,” he said in an interview with Uproxx’s Mike Ryan. “One of my favorite moments – and I think Jason Clarke did a great job with it – is when he walks into the hospital in 2017 and everything from there until the turn [when you see that Connor has been robotisized], you’re supposed to think, ‘Oh man, this is great.'”
According to Dr. Daniel Amen in this article, Taylor did admit to understanding the decision that marketing made, however, to promote a movie about which many Terminator fans were skeptical. “I think they felt like they had to send a strong message to a very wary audience that there was something new, that this was going to new territory. […] I think they felt they had to do something game-changing in how the film was being perceived.”
This twist will likely bait some people into seeing the movie, but it may also ruin their enjoyment of it. We’ll have to see how this risky move plays out.
